First Congregational Church can provide a beautiful setting for your wedding. The church will seat around 350 people. We have either organ or piano and will provide the person who will play your music for a fee. There is also a sound system available that allows for other instruments to be used, or music to be played from an electronic device. We can provide candelabras for the center aisle and the altar. The church has two floors and an elevator for ease of access to the sanctuary, and two parking areas.
You can contact the church office at 272-8363 and the wedding coordinator will set an appointment to meet with you and conduct a tour of the facility as we assess your needs. When you have met with the coordinator, plans will be put in place to make sure the church is available when you need it and for how long you will need it the day of the ceremony. There will be a time scheduled for a rehearsal before the ceremony to make sure you will know how all your plans will coordinate for that day. - Stop by the church office during office hours to receive a printed form; fill it out and leave it with the administrative assistant
You are welcome to call the church office to check on availability of the space before filling out the forms. Final fees will be determined after a discussion with the Senior Minister or church office, though the Wedding Reservation PDF (located at the bottom of this page) gives an estimation of pricing. There is a $100 deposit due when the reservation has been finalized. This deposit will go towards the final balance, but is not refundable if the reservation is cancelled. There is also a refundable damage deposit of $150, which will be returned after the event, once the church sexton inspects the facility.
